“The Crypto Task Force roundtables are an opportunity for us to hear a lively discussion among experts about what the regulatory issues are and what the commission can do to solve them,” SEC Commissioner Hester M. Peirce, Crypto Task Force leader, said.

Each roundtable will be held at SEC headquarters in Washington, D.C., and will have its own theme. The April 11 roundtable will discuss tailoring regulation for crypto trading, the April 25 roundtable will discuss key considerations for crypto custody, the May 12 roundtable will discuss moving assets onchain, and the June 6 roundtable will discuss DeFi and the American spirit.

Registration is required to attend and space may be limited. Visitors will be subject to security checks. For those who cannot attend in person, a recording will be posted on SEC.gov after the events. No register is required to view the video.

The task force will post each roundtable’s agenda and speakers on its website when they are available.

Acting SEC Chairman Mark T. Uyeda launched the Crypto Task Force on Jan. 21.
