The April 30 session would revisit feedback from prior meetings and feature a presentation from the Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation, focusing on data quantifying differential access to capital across demographic groups and geographies.

The meeting will be conducted from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. ET and webcast live via SEC.gov, in addition to being archived on the Committee’s webpage for later viewing.

It is anticipated the Committee will deliberate on potential recommendations following discussion on potential solutions as a means of improving capital access, detailing the meeting’s full agenda, along with other meeting materials, would be available on the Committee’s web page.

The SEC said the Committee’s formation by Congress stemmed from lawmakers seeking to provide the Commission with advice and recommendations on Commission rules, regulations, and policy matters relating to small businesses ranging from privately-held emerging companies to smaller public companies.

The Committee recently informed the Commission on several key rulemaking and policy priorities, providing feedback into the regulatory process.
