ICBA names Tweddle as innovation, fintech vice president

The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) announced that Kevin Tweddle has joined the ICBA Services Network as group executive vice president, innovation and financial technology.

In this newly created position, Tweddle will work with staff across the association to identify innovation strategies and opportunities that are aligned with ICBA’s growth objectives.

“New market disruptors are changing the financial services landscape as we know it, and the creation of Kevin’s role is a meaningful step in ushering in this new era for the community banking industry” ICBA President and CEO Camden Fine said. “We are pleased to welcome Kevin to the ICBA team and look forward to unveiling his unique expertise and insights as we work with community banks to seize new market opportunities and meet their customers’ evolving financial services and payments needs.”

Tweddle’s financial services experience spans more than 25 years and includes executive positions at a large commercial bank and both small and large financial technology companies. He previously served as president of Bank Intelligence Solutions at Fiserv and was an executive at the Bankers Bank in Atlanta, where he was chief financial officer and chief information officer. He most recently worked as a director of Novantas Inc., providing data and analytics solutions to mid-tier banks.

Tweddle holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration and accounting from Stetson University in DeLand, Florida.
