The Credit Union National Association has joined forces with the Association for Financial Technology (AFT) to help credit unions make better use of technology.
AFT works with credit unions and other financial services companies to promote professional development and the use of technology.
The partnership with CUNA Strategic Services is designed to keep credit unions competitive through technology and support services.
“I’m passionate about AFT, which includes a broad spectrum of technology and services providers in the financial industry. Through this relationship, CUNA Strategic Services will be able to better reach and collaborate on technology issues facing credit unions and those companies providing technology to them,” Julie Esser, vice president of CUNA Strategic Services and former AFT board member, said.
Through this partnership, CUNA Strategic Services becomes a voting member on the AFT board. Further, CUNA will attend and contribute to AFT summits and help identify potential members for AFT. Also, AFT will participate in CUNA events and promote CUNA and CUNA Strategic Services benefits to AFT member companies.
“CUNA is the only national association that advocates for all credit unions and their members,” Zach Duke, president of AFT and executive vice president of business development of Safe Systems, said. “By working with CUNA Strategic Services, AFT member companies have a direct connection to CUNA and will benefit from their network as well.”
