“Comerica’s ESG Platform illustrates what we believe to be the most impactful ESG issues for our company, customers and colleagues and those in which we feel that we can make a significant difference,” Curt Farmer, chairman and CEO, Comerica Bank, said. “We aim to conduct business that meets the needs of today while not compromising the ability of future generations to meet their needs.”

The ESG initiative seeks to provide underserved communities, women, minorities and small businesses with capital access; promote equitable workforce diversity and inclusivity; invest in underserved communities financial education; address climate change; and bolster ESG-related product and service solutions.

“Transparency is critical as we deliver on goals that protect and preserve the environment and enhance the human and social capital of our communities,” Scott Beckerman, director of Corporate Sustainability, Comerica Bank, said.

The Corporate Responsibility Report outlines performance within the areas of technology; responsible business practices; diversity, equity & inclusion; environmental sustainability; and community support.
