First Citizens appoints new area executive for Dallas market

First Citizens Bank has named Chris Stringer to be the area executive for their business and branch banking operations in the Dallas-Fort Worth market.

Stringer has nearly three decades of banking experience and will be responsible for the operations in the market, as well as for driving continued growth across North Texas.

Stringer has nearly 30 years of experience serving clients across the Dallas-Fort Worth area. A Texas native, he was previously at Bank OZK, where he led commercial banking for the Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston markets. He has held leadership roles at a number of financial institutions in the area, with a strong focus in commercial lending. Stringer holds an MBA from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas A&M University.
