Ohio-based Huntington Bancshares Inc. recently promoted Brant Standridge to president of Huntington Bancshares and its subsidiary, The Huntington National Bank, effective immediately.
“Brant is an exceptional leader with deep banking experience, strong operating discipline and a clear focus on delivering for customers and colleagues,” Huntington CEO Steve Steinour said. “Since joining Huntington, he has played an important role in advancing our growth agenda and strengthening alignment across our businesses. He has been a strong champion of our culture and has helped reinforce the values and purpose of Huntington. In this expanded role, he will be responsible for the continued revenue growth and performance of the bank.”
Standridge joined Huntington in 2022 and served as Consumer & Business Banking president, overseeing Huntington’s consumer, private and business banking units and all corporate marketing activities. In his expanded role, he will oversee all of Huntington’s revenue-generating businesses with a focus on company strategy and execution.
His promotion follows an extensive succession planning process.
Standridge previously served as Truist chief retail community banking officer and eight years as regional president in Baltimore, Atlanta and Dallas.
Huntington Bancshares operates more than 1,400 bank branches in 21 states with certain businesses operating nationally. It has $284 billion in assets.
