The Consumer Bankers Association (CBA) board of directors recently named Arijit Roy, U.S. Bank senior executive vice president, consumer and business banking products, as its 2027 board chairman.
At U.S. Bank, Roy leads the product and digital organizations within consumer and business banking. He has served as senior executive vice president since June 2024. He previously led the Consumer Segment and Solutions team where he had responsibility for deposit products and driving distinctive client experiences.
Prior to U.S. Bank, Roy held leadership positions at Truist Financial Corp., Discover Financial Services and McKinsey & Co. and roles at H&R Block and Sprint. He previously served on the Bank Administration Institute (now ProSight) board of directors.
“Arijit is a respected leader whose deep industry experience, commitment to consumers, and perspective on the future of retail banking will be invaluable as CBA and our members navigate a rapidly evolving financial services landscape,” Lindsey Johnson, CBA president and CEO, said. “We look forward to working closely with Arijit and the entire board to build on CBA’s momentum, strengthen our industry, and advance policies that enable America’s leading banks to better serve the millions of consumers who rely on them every day.”
Roy replaces Maria Tedesco who will serve as immediate past chairwoman.
