Texas-based Agility Bank, a bank serving small and medium-sized businesses, recently named Donette Stubblefield as its next CEO.
“Donette is a proven leader here in the Houston banking community and we know that bringing her on as CEO will be transformational for Agility,” Edna Meyer-Nelson, Agility Bank board of directors chairwoman, said. “She is highly motivated, collaborative and ready to drive our growth strategy into the next phase, delivering value for our staff and shareholders. We can’t wait to see the successes she brings to the bank.”
Stubblefield has 20 years of extensive executive experience in commercial and private banking, wealth management, and enterprise strategy. She comes to Agility Bank from a legacy Texas community bank where served as the chief banking executive. Stubblefield also spent more than a decade at another large regional bank, serving as chief fiduciary officer and as the Houston-executive for private banking and wealth.
During her career, she has lead commercial banking strategy, credit governance, deposit strategy, market growth, and talent engagement across multi-market communities and regional banks. She also has experience creating and translating strategy into line of business performance, modernizing systems and processes, and building high-performing teams.
