“Investors are flooded with financial information every day, and it can be difficult to know what to trust,” Christine Kieffer, FINRA senior vice president of investor education and FINRA Investor Education Foundation president, said. “These tools cut through the noise by giving investors trusted information, practical insights and the confidence to make more informed financial decisions.”

The Market Data and Investments Explorer integrates FINRA investor education materials alongside market, product and company data to assist retail investors with market and investment research. The explorer includes market indexes and other information about current market conditions; detailed market data on exchange-traded and over-the-counter equities, exchange-traded funds and mutual funds; and a detailed profile for every exchange-listed company.

Enhanced Risk and Scam Meters help investors recognize fraud risks and protect themselves from scams. Both meters were redesigned to provide investors with interactive, personalized educational experiences. The Risk Meter helps users assess their potential fraud vulnerabilities while the Scam Meter builds scam awareness.
