The agency said the discussion at 2 p.m. on July 13, 2026, will focus on modernizing the IPO process and determining how to expand access to public capital for companies of all sizes.

Officials said they hoped the roundtable will bring together innovative practitioners and seasoned professionals to add more to the conventional approaches, while proposing regulatory solutions and insight into recent proposed rule changes. The department said the discussion will focus on strategies to support companies in accessing public capital markets and maintaining their public company status.

The agency said the event is a way to invite participants to contribute their expertise and engage in meaningful dialogue with the two offices.

Webcast on SEC.gov, the panel will be moderated by Courtney Haseley, SEC Office of the Advocate for Small Business Capital Formation, and Ted Yu, SEC Division of Corporation Finance. Panelists for the roundtable will be Beau Bohm, managing director and global co-head of Equity Capital Markets at Cantor Fitzgerald; Joshua Ford Bonnie, partner at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP; Jaime Klima, general counsel at the New York Stock Exchange; Ryan Mitteness, partner at Fenwick & West LLP; and Daniel Zinn, general counsel & Chief of Staff at OTC Markets Group Inc.

A recording of the event will be made available on the website after the broadcast concludes, officials said. The roundtable will be accessible virtually without registration.
