During its Sept. 22-23 campaign, Opens Doors received pledges from 46 companies and 44 individuals. Personal pledges totaled $543,000. Twenty-five companies pledged $25,000 or more, two pledged $75,000, and eight companies pledged $100,000 or more.

Proceeds will be used to help vulnerable families with critically ill or injured children stay in their homes while the children receive treatment. Monthly, Opens Doors provides grants of up to $2,000 to families with a child in treatment at one of the foundation’s network of 13 children’s hospitals.

“I am deeply grateful that Opens Doors will start 2026 on solid ground,” Deborah Dubois, MBA Opens Doors Foundation president, said. “In the new year, we will cross the 20,000 families helped threshold. Doing so is a milestone achievement for an industry that has weathered significant ups and downs yet maintained its unwavering support for families navigating a health crisis.”

From Oct. 19 through Oct. 22, the MBA will host the 2025 Annual Convention and Expo in Las Vegas. Companies contributing $25,000 or more and individuals contributing $10,000 or more will be recognized.
