The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) released its annual statistical report on registered representatives, brokerage firms and market activity that FINRA oversees.

The 2025 FINRA Industry Snapshot provides an overview of FINRA membership, with data on a variety of subjects, including revenue, trading activity, how firms market their products and services, and the number of FINRA-registered individuals at firms.
“The FINRA Industry Snapshot provides a comprehensive look into the evolving structure and dynamics of the securities industry and markets. This detailed annual report provides the public with greater transparency into the activities of our members and FINRA’s oversight, supporting a deeper understanding of this critical sector of the economy,” said Jonathan Sokobin, executive vice president, chief economist and head of regulatory economics and market analysis at FINRA.
